CONTRACTIONS

In conversation we shorten two words into one. We call it " contractions". There are some contractions we often use.

cannot - can't

could not- couldn't

do not - don't

did not - didn't

is not - isn't

He is - He's

She is - She's

It is - It's

They are - They're

will not - won't

shall not - shan't

I would - I'd

He would - He'd

They would - They'd

You are - You're

We are - We're

We have - We've

does not - doesn't 

are not - aren't

was not - wasn't

were not - weren't

You will - You'll

I will - I'll

We will - We'll

They will - They'll

There is - There's

It is - It's

I am - I'm

What is - What's

have not - haven't 

has not - hasn't

Where is - Where's

I have - I've

You have - You've

They have - They've

Where are - Where're

Let us - Let's
