There are 02 kinds of verbs.

Any verb has 3 main forms. they are infinitive simple past and past participle. To form the Simple past and past participle we add "ed" to the end of the infinitive and that is the common way.

1. Normal way to add "ed" to simple past and past participle of the verb.

 2. The verb ends in letter "e" add "d" to simple past and past participle of the verb.

 3. The last letter ends before a vowel the last letter should double.

 4. The last letter ends before two vowels

 5.The verb ends in "y" before a consonant sound

 Irregular Verbs

The past simple and the past participle of some verbs change in different ways. They are called "IRREGULAR VERBS"

There is a limited numbers of irregular verbs just about 200.
